DEL PRA™ – Products from the Alps, marked by life and survival. Naturally crafted when time allows.

Alexander Agethle, organic farmer and cheesemaker from South Tyrol, and Christian Zanzotti, Italian industrial designer and founder of Zanzotti Industrial Design, bring together two complementary perspectives: a deep understanding of agriculture, materials, and natural cycles, and a design approach shaped by experimentation, technology, and craftsmanship. Since taking over his family farm in 2003, Agethle has pursued a more ecological and self-sustaining model of agriculture, transforming the Englhof into an organic farm and artisanal dairy. His work challenges industrial production systems and explores how local resources can be used more responsibly. Zanzotti, who founded his Munich-based studio in 2013, works across mobility, furniture, and consumer products. His practice combines a rigorous design language with a fascination for materials, manufacturing processes, and new ways of creating lasting value.
Together, they initiated DEL PRA™, a project rooted in circular thinking: transforming residual materials from the farm into high-quality, long-lasting products. Leather bags made from these resources are naturally tanned and sewn just two kilometers from the farm, keeping production closely connected to its origin. The resulting objects are archaic, timeless, and unpretentious. They celebrate the inherent qualities of their materials and the intelligence of local craftsmanship. Nothing feels excessive or imposed; each product emerges from its context with a sense of quiet necessity and natural simplicity.
